Nature Bare's Baby Belly Butter features an exquisite blend of pure butters, oils, and clay that work to help to lock in moisture and keep skin supple.
Apply at least twice a day. Massage butter on breast, belly, hips, buttocks, and thighs to keep skin supple. Best if applied immediately after shower or bath to lock in moisture. You may use after pregnancy as a regular body butter. For external use only.
The scented versions use a safe amount of essential oil suitable for pregnant and lactating moms. Please note, that this will be lightly scented and not highly scented like products made with artificial fragrances.

Ingredient Highlight:
Shea Butter - Rich in stearic acid, oleic acid and vitamin A. Studies have shown that shea's chemical properties can improve skin conditions such as blemishes, wrinkles, eczema, rash, scarring, and dermatitis.
Mango Butter - Rich in antioxidants such as vitamin A, C & E, studies have shown that this butter has the ability to protect skin from sunburn as well as smooth rough skin.
Aloe Vera - Works as a natural skin moisturizer. Various studies have shown that its properties are effective in treating a variety of skin conditions such as flaky and dry skin.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil - A heavier oil, naturally high in healthy monosaturated fatty acids. Most notably, Oleic acid, which is most suitable for very dry skin as it seals in moisture most effectively.
Avocado Oil - A heavier oil, high in Oleic acid. It has a great ability to retain water in skin which encourages supple and soft tissue. This oil is easily absorbed by the skin and can act as an excellent hydrator to soothe dry and itchy skin.
Rosehip Seed Oil - Cold-pressed oil extracted from the Rosa moschata hips and seeds. It is rich in vitamin E, C, D B-carotene and essential fatty acids, most notably oleic, palmitic, linoleic and gamma-linolenic. Scientific studies have shown that when these fatty acids absorb through the skin, they convert to prostaglandins which are involved in cellular membrane and tissue regeneration.
Baobab Oil - Oil cold-pressed from the baobab tree fruit seeds. Scientific research has shown that its chemical composition, including the fatty acids (oleic, palmitic, linoleic, malvic, sterculic and dihydrosterculic) give this oil therapeutic property in the skin such as emolliency, insulation, cicatrization, antioxidation, and anti-inflammation.

All products contain no parabens, mineral oils, petroleums, drying alcohols, colorants, silicones, or soy. Many are vegan, gluten-free, and contain no tree nuts (Research has shown that people with nut allergies don't seem to be allergic to Shea butter. Please note that we do include tamanu oil in the baby belly butter - this is a nut allergen). All products are handmade and made in small batches to ensure the highest quality of ingredients with the longest possible shelf life.
It's best to store your premium products in a cool dry area. Plastic, wood, or specialty made personal care silicone spatulas are the best methods to use for removing products from jars. Please try not to introduce water into your products since water could shorten the shelf life of the products.
It's best to conduct a patch test on a small area of skin to test if you have allergies before using any product. If irritation occurs please discontinue use and consult a physician. While most of our products are derived from plant oils and seeds, we take great diligence in ensuring no cross-contamination occurred with the products that do contain tree nuts.
